CCDP Chooses Membership and Officers for 2025-2026

Charlevoix County Democratic Party (CCDP) elected members of the County (Executive) Committee and chose officers for 2025-2026 at its Fall Convention on November 23.


The Convention, chaired by CCDP Vice Chair Beth Freeman, elected two new County Committee members: Gordon Bloem and Brooke Nemchak. They will be joined by returning members: Walt Cherry, Laura Ford, Beth Freeman, Trent Kutsch, Liane McGhee, Carolyn Navarre, James (Jim) Rodgers, Jane Rodgers, JoEllen Rudolph, Richard Seibert, Hilary Sontag, and Sue Stockman. Also on the Committee as automatic choices are Democratic candidates: Jodi Decker (MI House), Callie Barr (US House), and Betty Simon (County Treasurer).


Immediately after the Convention, County Committee members chose its new 2025-2026 officers:

Laura Ford, Chair

Gordon Bloem, Vice-Chair

Brooke Nemchak, Secretary

Jane Rodgers/Carolyn Navarre, Treasurer/Assistant Treasurer
