Charlevoix Joins Only Eight Other Counties in Swinging towards Democrats

The green counties moved toward the Democratic Party in the election. Leelenau (in dark green) made the biggest swing, and Charlevoix joined the others in very small moves. All of the other counties (the darker the purple, the farther the swing) moved toward the Republicans. These are just percentage moves. Harris still won in Wayne County by a large margin, while Trump still won in Charlevoix County but by a smaller margin.

Similar to the remaining lake-shore counties, the Charlevoix swing was 0.1%, and Harris won 40.3% of the vote. Other county parties should learn from Leelanau.
